The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is one of the premier performing arts centers in the Southeast with a growing national and international reputation. All program classes and events will take place in the Picower Foundation Arts Education Center on the 2nd floor of the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center.Opened in October 2003, the $31 million Cohen Pavilion is a grand, multipurpose facility which includes Helen K. Persson Hall, a newly renovated black box theatre where daily classes and events will take place. In addition to the 4400 square ft. black box theatre, students will train, practice and gather on the second floor of the Cohen Pavilion which boasts a 3000 square ft. dance studio, classrooms and rehearsal spaces, all designated for The Broadway Artists Intensive’s three week program. The Showcase Performance will be held in the state of the art, 289 seat Rinker Playhouse, also on site at the Kravis Center. Student drop-off and pick-up will be at the main entrance to the Cohen Pavilion off of Okeechobee Boulevard.
